Had a Prowler that the PO had "flipped" the axle made the entrance too high for the DW. A mechanic and I put it back the way it came and DW was happy. Took less than 39 mins.

TT is back. Whoa, it is way up there now! So far I'm pleased, this is exactly what I wanted out of the flip. I neglected to take any measurements, but it is clearly much higher now. I need to get some blocks for all the jacks because they are maxed out now just to reach the ground.

I think you'll like it, I know I like mine with it's lift. One positive point is that if you decide you don't like it, the old spring perches are still there so lowering it will be a snap.
But, I'll bet you don't ever lower it.

Mines at 22" from the ground to underside of the frame. Jacks are really stretched out unless I use blocks. We camp a lot in forest service CG's and on uneven ground. Sometimes we have 3-4 4x6" under some jacks. It's nice when pulling in and out of parking lots or gas stations though, plenty of clearence. Now you gotta redo the hitch?

Readjusting the hitch was done when I picked it up.

Have you thought about removing your current two folding step unit and replacing it with a three step unit?

Yes. While at the RV dealer browsing I saw replacement steps that cost upwards of $200. I thought a sturdy stool would be cheaper. The current setup is actually just a single folding step.
