For the last couple of weeks I've been getting quotes from local insurance agencies for my MH. When talking to the agents, 4 different ones, I asked about supplemental brakes and breakaway. All 4 said they had never heard of supplemental brakes being an issue in an accident. They said anytime you rear end someone you will be sued, fact of life. And when you are sued, you will have a lawyer too.

Hopefully the guy you rear ended was on his cellphone so you will own everything he has. joking.

But what is your GCWR? That should be on your door sticker too. Monaco says: "*Towing capacity is limited by GCWR; your vehicle's towing capacity is the difference between the GCWR and the actual vehicle weight, including all water, fuel, passengers and cargo. Your towed vehicle should be equipped with auxiliary brakes if the weight of the towed vehicle exceeds 1,000 lbs. Consult your owner's manual for further towing information."

No, GCWR is NOT on the door sticker!
At least, I have never seen it there on any of the cars, trucks, motorhomes, motorcycles, etc. that I have owned.
