Hi all,
This is Michbill. Hope I'm posting this in the correct forum.
We are heading to Fl from Ashville NC area in a day or two (I-26 to I-95). Does anyone have any suggestions of a nice RV Park along the way. We have an 2007 Itasca Suncruiser 38T and a Jeep toad. We have to be in Orlando on 1/4/12 so we might stay one or two nights. I'd like to keep the driving to about 300 miles or so. No two legged kids only a Yellow Lab and four cats. It would be great for the dog, and me if the park had off leash area..
Thank you
Bill

GA exit 7 you have Walk-About camp ground to the west of the interstate. They have a nice trail out to the Crook River and the owners are very nice. They are from way down under. Nice sites with full hook ups.

We did to. Lots of shade and the river was pretty cool to swim in

For a couple of days of R&R, I'd select McIntosh Lake RV Park in Townsend, Ga. A mile from I-95, it's quiet and peaceful on a small lake with easy off and on. Bath and laundry building is fairly new. Consistent 4 and 5 star rating on RV Park Reviews. A gem for about $20.

We are currently here for the night enroute to Fl. This is a very nice resort with easy access to 95. There is a little traffic noise but not too bad. The sites are nice and long with concrete pads. They even have dedicated faucets at each site for washing the RV or car.
Very nice place for only 37 bucks a night with my FMCA discount.

I can support this. We stayed there twice in the past week going to and from Orlando. It's a perfect overnight stopover IMO. It's about 350 miles to Orlando from there. I don't know what I would do there for two consecutive days though, but for an overnighter, it's perfect. Each site is a long pull through and has 30 and 50 amp service.
