Disneyland or disneyworld ?, fort wilderness is great and your trasnportation is right there, Jellystone is ok as well if your going to FLA.

We stayed at Fort Wilderness, never started the truck in 5 days. They had transportation every where. No traffic jams, no parking fees, no extra fuel cost, shuttle to the gates, etc.. Worth the extra cost of staying at Disney!

We have previously stayed at Aneheim RV resort. It is a clean, slightly grassed parking lot only a mile from Disneyland...even less by the the way the crow flies. There is a suttle, if your young, you can walk. It is a nice, clean, basecamp for your Disney visit. There is as grade school across the street. The neighborhood is not the greatest, not bad, but not a great place to walk at night. The freeway is nearby. You get the smoke from the evening fireworks. But, if your intent is to basecamp and head to Disneyland each day, you really can'g get much closer. I would stay there again for a two day trip to Disneyland. If you are looking for a basecamp for a long trip to SoCal...not so much.

We are thinking about this year's summer vacation. Glad to read some info on Disneyland RV parks. Now I have to research Universal Studios RV Parks....
