Home again. Some wind hope it didn't cause anyone trouble on the roads home. Thank- you all for great food, great laughs and to all you great peole/friends. Even thu the rain didn't stop at all saturday, we all made the best of it-Thank goodness for the building that we got to use at the park which allowed us to have our group breakfast and dinner as well as allowing us to congregate for visiting and game playing. Till our next outing be safe and well. Kim & Pat
Thank you kim/Pat/Gerald and Sharon for making a good rally.
We made it home with no problem other than poor mileage due to the wind.
we will see you all soon
Glad you guys had a good time in my neck of the woods. Sorry you got to see some of our wonderful South Georgia spring weather. I would have joined you, if I hadn't already made a committment to my son's Venture Crew. Yes, I was in the rain too.
Glad you guys had a good time in my neck of the woods. Sorry you got to see some of our wonderful South Georgia spring weather. I would have joined you, if I hadn't already made a committment to my son's Venture Crew. Yes, I was in the rain too. Glad the wind wasn't too bad today. I had to bring my TT home today, but only had to drive about 2-3 miles in the wind.
Our caravan, consisting of our rig, Mark and Janice, John and Judy with Gerald bringing up the rear, had a windy but uneventful trip back. We stopped and chowed down at Buckners before heading in to home. Mary and I visited with our grandboys who live within 5 miles of the restaurant before we got home. My front landing jack motor and gear box has to be replaced (clutch gone on motor and gear box housing damaged) and Lippert likes to quote high prices for the fix but what are you gonna do if you want to camp? Thanks to John for helping me get the unit on the truck and I was able to get it off when I got home. Thanks to Kim, Pat, Gerald and Sharon for an great weekend, weather notwithstanding.
I want to give Kim / Pat & Jerald / Sharon a great big shout out for hosting the rally, they performed a fantastic Mardi-Gras rally. I also want to give thanks to the Roaming RVers, with all the rain we still had a great time, thanks to Kim for renting the enclosed pavilion
@Pawpaw48, my clutch starting slipping on my landing gear when I got home, I hope it’s not a sickness that is starting to spread
Our next rally will be at Tallulah Gorge on May 4th-6th, so get your reservations and come join in.
