Looking at spending next winter at Two Springs RV Resort north of Palm Springs. We're 55-ish, traveling in a 40 foot motorhome with a small dog. We like a gated park, but don't need a lot of planned activities. Quiet is good, and if we have to drive ten miles or so to get to a good grocery store, that's okay.
Sound to you like we'll be happy here? What about monthly cost for electric? Anybody have experience staying here with a dog? We've read "must relieve themselves on your own lot" and "pet friendly". Figured the truth is somewhere in the middle. :-) The park's website map looks like it needs an update.
Thanks in advance for all info and opinions!

We have visited this park but not stayed there-- It was clean and very nice--
As I have lived in the area I can tell you that you will be in the middle of the "wind belt"-- When it is nice it is wonderful but when windy (often) it is miserable with blowing sand-- (local joke is the rocks all blew away years ago)
If possible stay somewhere in the coves to the south of Palm Springs where you have shelter from the winds-----------

I looked at their rules! I think they are control freaks! Most parks North of I10 are windy. Chris

Thanks for the info. We are planning to stay here next winter now. It would be great to have more details from folks who own lots, or have rented lots.

WE have a lot in Two Springs now for 3 years we bought. We are here now here now. Lots are 45 x 50 lots of room. No park modela allowed only rv's. I was 54 when we bought and there is some . Price was right and the people in the park are awsome. They are not crazy rules other then what you can do to your lot as everyone has to have the same shed shed. the rest is prettey well up to you. Owned lots each have their own character in landscaping, night lights etc. There is pickle ball, pool clubhouse etc. 5 mins from downtown Palm Springs. No hassle if your kids want to visit you either. We love the weather and the golf. Close to L.A, San Diego Vegas etc.

We don't get the sand in two springs if the wind blows it more to the south towards Palm Springs. This year hardly no wind at all so far.
