Dave where's your response? Having some difficulty with hills Mr. Mod?
Sure hope you were in the "open" area since you appear to be off the trail

I need to go ride with Dave, then we can help each other up those knarly hills 
I needed help twice this past weekend, could have rode back down and make another run at them, but was close to the top both times, so letting JJ ride it the last few feet was the better option.

It doesn't count as cross-country if you're still within walking distance of the trail, and I was only one sharp left-hand turn away.
