Wow. There is so very much wrong with that website's way of thinking, I could probably write pages on it. But let me briefly hit the high spots --
They've dropped all Natura products from their "top ten" simply because they've been bought by P&G, although there's no evidence of the product quality having changed at all. Yet they include Natural Balance on their "top ten" list. NB was found during the big 2007 dog food recall to have deceptive product labeling. They also include Merrick in their top ten list, and Merrick has a very, very long history of product recalls, including a few recalls of products that resulted in pet deaths.
As with most dog food rating sites, there's little to no logic used.

Eating dog or cat poop isn't so bad; there are worse things dogs will eat. There's nothing like looking out our kitchen window to see Sam dragging a rotten deer carcas up from the road; on the other hand, this is what dogs are genetically designed to eat (as opposed to kibble).

I'm not saying that makes Natural Balance a "bad" food, Pops. Heck, I've used it for one of my dogs 'cause it gave the results I was looking for. They had a fairly good (IMO) explanation for what happened and claim to have made significant improvements in their quality control procedures since then.
My point is more that these dog food rating sites aren't reliable sources of information for anyone who really wants to learn the "good" and "bad of pet food.

Well Pops, as you can see, starting a dog food topic is a good way to get some very useful info!
Now you know you need to switch over to Purina 1 Roadkill & Rice.

If we never bought products from companies that have recalled products in the past we would all be using horses to pull our RVs.
