Yes they are automated but the DVD is just in case I need to go to a private hospital which has happened.
Broke my leg in such a way I needed surgery and the VA could not get to it since it was a major holiday and the hospital near the house could since they had a specialist on call. VA and the hospital worked together to get me the care I needed.
