After posting my first review towing with my "Egoboost" I learned much from forum feedback .. Towing anything over 5K lbs requires at the very least a diesel preferably a dually with a long bed. Of course one should also throw in a $3K Hensley "if you care about your family's safety". Now I'm torn between whether I should sell my trailer and get a tent trailer (ultra light edition of course) or bite the bullet and trade my "Egoboost" in on a diesel dually. I have also considered a Freightliner or Kenworth as a good choice "just to be on the safe side". So much to decide

My last 4 tanks I have averaged 14 MPG or so. Not nearly as good as my '03, but it's a BIG truck.
I dream of 14! I was getting 11.3 on the highway last night with no air and cruise set to 70 (not towing). Everyone tells me "after it breaks in" I'll get better mileage. Yeah right! How long does it take to break it in? I thought 10k miles since September should be good enough - guess not!
