I don't know...I think I may have to confiscate that TV for some testing.
I think my TV in signature would do better and since it is constantly dirty from running out to the lake it will be much better at pulling that boat trailer - it already knows the way and I would hate to get that perty truck dirty!
Enjoy and COME ON SUMMER (yes it is only 5 JAN)!

Definitely needs a Mag-Hytec trans pan an differential cover. I've heard about them Rams running kinda hot towing that much weight. Needs an in-dash nav too so's you don't get lost on the way home.

Love it, we went three summers pulling a Jaco 10' popup tent trailer with my 2005 Dodge 3500 Quad Cab Longbed Dually. Got asked several times if I could even feel the 1500 pound trailer. We did and still do have other reasons for having a dually. Now we have a heavy camper so the new dually is being used as it should.

After posting my first review towing with my "Egoboost" I learned much from forum feedback .. Towing anything over 5K lbs requires at the very least a diesel preferably a dually with a long bed. Of course one should also throw in a $3K Hensley "if you care about your family's safety". Now I'm torn between whether I should sell my trailer and get a tent trailer (ultra light edition of course) or bite the bullet and trade my "Egoboost" in on a diesel dually. I have also considered a Freightliner or Kenworth as a good choice "just to be on the safe side". So much to decide
If I ever find out I'm dying, I'm buying a KW or Mack just so I can come on here in my short time left and pound my chest declaring "my truck's bigger than yours!!" (I can envision my posts now: "you're towing that with only ONE rear axle?! Unsafe!!")
To the OP, that's one heckuva nice truck! Enjoy

What rear-end do you have? I bought a 2011 3500 Crew Cab 4x4 with the 4.10 and my mileage sucks! Our Recon is 43' and 13,500 empty. I'm lucky to see 8 mpg towing! On a good day, I get 13 on the highway when not towing! Love the truck but she sure is thirsty!
Congrats on your truck! Go big or go home!!!
