I don't care if it breaks down or not as long as it goes through the dump valve and it does..Only other requirements are nonskid, reversible and puncture proof.

Now, if someone can explain to my boss why he doesn't need to buy "RV" paper, even after I explained to him numerous times.....nevermind, he is an idiot.

Sorry Fred, but your fears about COSTCO TP or any TP in general for use in an RV is unfounded and not based on any reliable facts AFAIK.

That is strange. I did that test and mine broke down within a minute. We have been using Kirkland brand for a couple of years without any issues. We have a macerator pump with the clear connection at the dump valve. It is always broken down by the time it hits this valve.

Never worried about TP breaking down.I think it would take longer for "other" stuff to break down anyhow, and it all goes out a 3" hose anyhow.

We use Sam's Club brand tp. It is marked as septic-system safe. A lot of folks use Scotts which is also marked septic-system safe. I know that what we have are holding tanks, but the septic-system safe tp breaks down faster. I guess the idea is to Not have big mounds of clumped up stuff that won't go out the black water hose.

Hi All.
We have never bought any Special RV TP, ever, and we have been RV'ers for 45 years. Glade you at last woke up and smelled the Flowers and are now saving some of your money for your Fuel, or other things that you might need. Better late than never. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

Keep enough water in the black holding tank so it will flush properly, use adequate water in the bowl, when using, and keep a SQUIRT bottle full of water in the toilet room to wash down the stuck stuff. You will hold down the water usage this way. It works for me.
Ohhh and some of the TT paper on the market, you just as well Not use any.

Probably should put this in the handy tips thread.
In response to the happy bowl post, get yourself a can of "no touch rain shield" and spray the inside of the toilet bowl. Nothing will stick.
We've been using the Kirkland TP. While on the road I drain and rinse the tank once a week. No issues.

We have used Costco (Kirkland) for three years in the TT and never had a problem. Now I did have a black valve stick open on me and when I opened the cap I can tell you that the TP on my shoes was dissolved.
