After more than six months of searching, internet and dealers' lots, we made the leap today to replace our 18 year-old fifth-wheel with something a bit larger but still small enough to hook our boat behind and take it with us when we go somewhere. Bought a Jayco Eagle SuperLite HT 26.5 RLS. I know it's not top of the line, but I believe with care it will be a good trailer for us until we are no longer comfortable with towing the trailer and boat together.
Awwwwwww...come on! The Jayco Eagle Super Lite is the top of IT'S line!
Congratulations and welcome to the Jayco Family! You'll love it!

We owned a Jayco Eagle 215SD, Anniversary Edition. It was their 25th year in business. We have changed our strategy for the future and needed something that had a little more room so we could spend more time in the trailer without coming to blows. I think this trailer will accomplish the deed. I had gotten what I consider great pricing on the internet from some Jayco dealers in Indiana, where the trailer is manufactured, and this price is about $2,000 higher than the best price I could get back there. However when I factored in the cost of the trip back there and home, it felt like it was a very good deal. The discount from "MSRP" was over $11,000 and amounted to about 29%. I was surprised to get this deal since the dealer I was working with doesn't have the reputation of discounting very much and has no debt on his inventory. Hopefully we got a good deal.
