Just replaced the analog stat in the 5er.
Dometic AC / Suburban Heater. Heres the situation
Heater works fine cycles on and off at set temp, Checked with seperate Thermometer.
When I tried the AC it calls for AC but unit does not run, no compressor no fan.
Changed back to the analog all is well,
I did have to put the analog stat all the way to lowest setting for ac to come on though. (40 Degrees on stat)
Camper was 65 Degrees inside outside temp 48 degrees.
Hunter stat only goes down to 45 Degrees.
Wired per hunter mods here on the net.
only hooked the blue wire for high fan as I dont have A switch yet for the hi / lo fan
Hunter is wired as follows
Red 12 volts not used
Tan lo fan not used
Blue to hi fan
White to Furnace
Yellow to AC Comp
Green(was ground) to RC
RC RH switched has jumper connected
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You must hook up both tan and blue for high fan, or just tan for low fan (just blue will not work). and I bet it was too cold to kick the compressor in.

If rig temp was 65*F then if you set the temp for 63*F you should hear a click then AC should start.........how long did you wait for it to come on? Outside temp wouldn't matter. If I have cycled my A/C I have to wait for minute or longer after I hear 'click' at thermostat before A/C will restart.
Your wiring is correct for the Dometic (Duotherm A/C)/Atwood Furnace.
The other wiring diagram I have seen is for Coleman/Atwood
On Edit: missed tan was NOT connected....

The Hunter Thermostat I have has 2 positions for AC. You must push it down to the lowest position to get AC. There is also a 15 minute delay for restart of AC after it has been turned off then back on.
