I'm thinking about replacing the stained accordion fold shower door in our tub with these sliding glass doors. Has anyone had any experience with this. DW says we have to do something with the old accordion doors - either replace them with another accordion door or something like this.

Should work. Do the glass doors have something to lock them in place while in motion?

We have them and the only issue is that your rv needs to be really level otherwise they will slide one way or the other when in use. As mentioned you need to have them tied down while rolling.

A glass/window/door store can custom cut a glass door enclosure. However since water all over the country will keep you working hard to keep the glass clean from hard water deposits and soap scum--the best choice is a good microfiber shower curtain on a rod. They dry very quickly and can easily be laundered to keep them fresh. You will seldom see a microfiber shower curtain mold because they do dry so quickly even in the confined space of a motorhome.

one thing about glass doors is the soap shows up on them more than the accordion doors. Just be sure to caulk all the way around the sides and bottom or you will have a lot of water on the floor to mop up

The shower doors in my class a pop loose from the OEM clip and jump their rails... a spring project will be fixing this. Currently its being held by 2 bungy cords... looked at RV show... no good solutions being used...

Regarding soap scum. Some folks use a squeegee to remove water from the glass and walls after a shower. Our surround has some embossed areas so a squeegee won't work very well. Instead we use a yellow fiber chamois - like the Shamwow advertized on TV. It works great.

By the way we have been using the fiber chamois for years before the dork with the Kewpie doll haircut started advertizing them as Shamwows.
I pay as little as $1 for the same thing.

My 2004 Southwind 32V came with those triple glass panel shower doors and they have an elastic band type of restrainer that is fastened to the wall and hooks over the towel bar to keep the doors in the open position for travel. No problems in 7 years

Installed the same doors in our MH last fall. They work well. One wall was not square to door frame. Had to make a angled spacer to fill in gap. Made a nylon strap that snaps in place to hold shower door while traveling. The provided clip does not hold doors in place good enough while traveling. We drove 2000 miles since Christmas with no problems.
We use Scrubbing Bubbles to keep shower doors and shower clean in the MH and home.

We dry our shower after every use including the glass doors. This helps prevent soap build up and film on nthe doors.
