Greetings to my brother and sister law enforcement officers. I have 26 years on the job and will be retiring in August. Doesn't seem possible. Can't wait to be warm in the winter!

Cleaning houses (very first income), then door-to-door salesman & tutoring & research assistant (during my college years), then semiconductor sales for many years (my "main" career), then various small home-businesses...and very frugal living that entire time

Hubby still invests actively on the road for income & I make a small living doing various writing/photo gigs.

If you like helping people (As I do) That is a great job isn't it.

I mean look at all the people you help sleep better at night.

Some sleep better knowing the bad guy is lounging in the hotel gray bar thanks to you having arresting him.

And the rest, Well.. till they met you they were loosing sleep worrying about "The Man" tossing their sorry anatomy parts into the slammer.. Thanks to you.. They can sleep soundly since they no longer have to worry about that.. (Just the judge in the morning).
