We are in Lake Havasu City, AZ leaseing a beautiful RV site. This is a park where you can own your lot everyone is friendly and the park is great. Just wondered if anyone knew of a place like this in Texas besides in the valley.

Check out the Escapees.com Club. They have parks in Coarsegold CA, Agungua CA, Congress AZ, Benson AZ, Oregon, Washington, Texas, and other states.

Many are member owned parks, where members buy a lot from the park, and are only allowed to sell it back to the park when they desire to sell it. Then the park can sell it to another member who is on a waiting list to buy in. The park is not obligated to buy a member's lot if there are not any buyers out there though. I think there are around 15 parks across the country.

Look at Rockkport Oaks in Rockport. There are many many privaate rv parks that sell lots from Amarillo to Houston to Mission and in the Hill country. You may have to look a little harder, but they are there.

Check with Buckhorn Lake Resort in the Texas hill country. Just about 4 miles from Kerrville, Tx... beautiful place. They have a 10-10-10 RV park and then across the creek is restricted access to the permanent sites. Very nice and the whole place is maintained to the n'th degree. Great people own and run it also.

Give them a call or come and visit.

They're looking to buy, not rent a site.....
