It's been a long time since I've said this about a domestic vehicle, but I just saw the 2013 Ford Fusion on the Today show and --- WOW!

IMO, probably the most beautiful affordable domestic car to come out of the US in a long time. Kudos to Ford.

The design of the Fusion seems to follow along the lines of the new Fiesta and Focus. But the new Ford school of styling seems to work even better on the new mid sized Fusion. The hybrid model has been updated as well with 3rd generation hybrid components (lithiom ion battery and transmission, both now made in the U.S.) and it will be capable of traveling at up to 62 MPH on the battery alone.

It seems that Ford has hit a home run with this car!
