I have a class A and tow a CRV 2005. I'm new to rv'ing and bought this CRV since its already to tow. I had an "Even Brake" system from Roadmaster installed.
My first trip out, when having to apply the RV brakes suddenly the left front and left rear wheels on the CRV locked up. This happened on 2 other occassions. My setting on the brake system were at the lowest settings. I have had the CRV to 2 different Honda dealers and they were not able to find anything mechanically wrong with the brakes.
So as you can see I have a situation. I know I can legally tow the CRV without a braking system, but I prefer not to. Has anyone experienced this type of problem and what was the soluion?
Thanks for any help, I'm desperate to resolve this issue.

I would guess this happens the first time you apply the brakes after hooking up and doesn't happen again until after you start the car, and apply the brakes again.
The vacuum booster brakes have to be bled down each time after you run the car, even when already connected. After you shut off the car the brake pedal must be pushed in hard five or six times to bleed the vacuum off. After that the brakes should work without locking up.
The even brake was getting an assist from the brake booster on the car.
