Our local ski lodge has set a record for late opening this year. Mid January and still no snow.
In 7 weeks it will be March. This is not good!!!!

No snow yet in south central BC
Just a little on the mountains around us, but nothing in the valley.
Got to love that for not being able to go south this year.

Just a light dusting today. All time record high temps (55 to 57) set last week. I've never seen a winter like this ever.....

What's this "snow" thing you're talking about??
By this time we usually have 2-3' on the ground, all we have this year is some spots of leftovers in the shade.
Really makes me want to de-winterize and go somewhere.

No snow here yet either. Guess my snowblower won't get a workout again this year. Might as well sell the dang thang. We shoulda gone to Moab DJ, it was 70ยบ in Borrego that week. I almost went swimmin in a stock tank.

So sorry people it's my fault. I bought a nice new gas snow blower this year, replacing the small electric piece of junk.

Had snow..... It's almost all gone now though - but I ain't scared cause it's only January. Although this could be like the winter of '05 - '06., where it did not snow UNTIL March 10th....
Hey, wasn't Silver calling for the coldest winter in 100 years a few months back?

In October we never had the normal high winds we get. In November we had really, really cold and windy conditions and snow. The snow even stayed on the trees for 2 weeks! Since then? Nothing. Zero. Zilch. and it's been in the 60s!! Occasional windy days (MANY more than normal) It's supposed to be a "weak" La Nina here with drier conditions than "normal" (whatever THAT means nowadays!) Our snowiest times are usually February/March, but we have always had cold and wet December/January weather as far back as I can remember. Fire season will be coming early according to all the experts and the annual grasses that began growing to help stabilize the slopes up here are already dried and crispy. It's most definitely NOT a normal winter!

we've had a few small dustings, but nothing has stayed...grass has even greened up some....afraid gonna be a bad sap/maple syrup season again this year...We have had a lot of unseasonably warm weather as well....been waiting for ice to go ice fishing, but none of that either.Got to get camper finished and just go camping, i guess...
