Geez...if he gave out the locations of his gorgeous sites they wouldn't be as secluded for his next use!!

Just look on Google Earth for the campground. Then look south of the campground for for where the Green River flows out of the reservoir and after the main dam.
Find a road along the river after the dam and drive down it until you find a good spot to camp with no other campers. It can't be too hard. There are lots of other roads in that area up side canyons but not along the Green River, too.

Generator...Only at a time of day when it is least bothersome...top batteries up for the night.
Barking dogs....train properly
Loud music....ear or headphones
Loud children.....disapline but remember you were a kid once
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

I'm a pipe smoker and always try to always stand downwind of nonsmokers.
All too frequently someone will try to stand downwind from me and complain about the smoke.

Looks like we got a little off topic and this turned into "another generator thread".
The startling thing I noticed in the first post was that despite miles of open space, the offending party decided to park in close proximity of the existing site, and then had zero courtesy by cranking up their noise machine.
Whether they have the "right" or not makes no difference. It's simple consideration.

I think it's not the generator noise per-se that makes folks angry. It's the lack of consideration.
When I fire up my 2000W inverter (ie quiet) generator, I let my neighbors within earshot know that I'll be charging my batteries and offer to let them plug in to do the same.
Conversation is king, and being polite should not be a lost art form.
It's based on character, not jealousy nor envy. And to suggest otherwise sometimes makes you sound like a pretentious fool.

Where was that in Arizona? What gorgeous spots you've found! Everywhere we went, there were tons of people. We just went by BLM maps.
The Arizona picture was taken in a campground right by Colossal Cave. it is a very small campground and you can only spend one night. But it's very quite and the spaces are farther apart than most campgrounds. Also the night we were there it was far from full.
As far as caves go if your in that area around Tucson, Be sure and see Kartcher Caverns'.
It's the most pristine cave I've ever been in.
The Florida picture was taken on what remains of an old bridge across Tampa Bay.
you can spend the night dry camping or spend the day fishing or both.
By the way thats the new bridge in the background of my picture.
The Georgia picture was taken in a county campground on a small reservoir.
All of the other RV's were up picture to the right. I drove around until I came upon this spot then spent the night all alone.
Westen states are easy to find cool campsites. But with a little persistence one can find good camp sites most places.
Of course a four wheel drive truck gives confidence, even more than wise sometimes.
