I have a TT with a 2" ball, and a cargo trailer (used daily for work) with a 2 5/16" ball. I wouldn't want to buy 2 of these hitches, when I can only use 1 at a time! I wrote to Andersen and inquired about this situation. They replied that this WD hitch ships with either size ball (yes, 2" is available). If I want an extra ball in the other size, it's about $50 additional. They did caution that the tapered ball can wedge so tightly in the sway-control housing that it may take a press to get it out. Another option they gave was to buy an extra housing with ball for about $200.
I don't have a press, but on the other hand, my tongue weights are only around 350-400 lbs, so maybe a big hammer would do.

You would also have to buy atleast another set of brackets that bolt to the trailer A-frame and then swap the chains/bushings back and forth between the 2 sets of brackets. Or swap brackets everytime that you switch trailers.

Is anyone using this hitch on a 10,000 lb+ trailer?
I'm waiting for mine to arrive.

Well, I just finished a 12 hour drive from Omaha to Memphis using the new hitch. It performed very well over some pretty challenging roads. The middle of the drive had some crazy winding hills and the beginning and end had some flat spots with wind.
The ride was smoother as far as up and down motion was concerned. The anti-sway was as adequate as my old equalizer and seemed smoother as well.
I can't say anything about durability yet, but I'm happy with the performance.
See my previous post for a description of my setup.

I need a new wd and sway hitch in about 3 weeks for my new tt. My old setup is going with the tt trade in. Does anyone have any regrets buying the andersen hitch?

Hey, I used the andersen for 2100 mile trip last month and loved it. That said, I'm buying a 5th wheel now and am selling mine.

I was in the process of hooking up my Andersen WD hitch today. Everything was going pretty smoothly, and then BOOM.
The standard frame brackets that are shipped fit 5" or 6" frames. I had measured the A frame on my trailer previously. It will need the 4 3/8" brackets.
I've sent an email to RadAuto and Andersen to figure out what I need to do.
What a PITA this has turned into.

Did you have the set screws tightened enough so that the points dug into the
tongue members?
My guess is that they need to checked and re-tightened often
