Try RV Collision and Restoration They have locatons in Ocala and Clarmont. I've bought parts from them and while there looked at some of their restoration work and it looked good. RV Collision and Restoration

Probably too far from you, but sometimes one never knows. You might have friends or relatives here.

We speak from experience and Truline Custom RV in Spokane Washington does beautiful work. Repairs, upgrades, re-design. If you can imagine it, he can do it.

Wonderful people to deal with also.

Excellant work! Fixed our foof leak quickly and price was reasonable.

Friends had work covered by insurance done and they said it looked like new.

Point of Infoee that you have Two threads going on same question.

I started out believing that motorhomes required very special dimensions and construction techniques to add to or remodel. Then I had the opportunity to talk to a seasoned carpenter. He explained to me that almost anything that could be made in a stick built home could be accomidated in a motorhome.Dimensions have to work with the room area. A gorilla size recliner will not work any better in a small living room in a motorhome OR small house. Watch the size. Most new furniture can be disassembled to fit the doorway of a motorhome and reassembled inside. Remodling just takes a little investigation and planning. A desk can be built from two kitchen cabinet bases with a formica top spanning them to create a knee hole. Want drawers? Pick a unit with drawers. I have a nice L shaped desk with drawers and a slide tray for my lap top matched with a leather desk chair from Office Max. My cost was half of a RV remodeler's estimate. I tried to purchase a small hinged counter extension for my kitchen counter and found that the manufacturer of my motorhome had just what I wanted for nearly $300 plus shipping. I was able to devise a much larger cutting board extension nearly 20"X24" with a standard cutting board from IKEA for $9.99 and a set of locking hinges for $13.00 from the local hardware plus a few stainless screws and about an hour of my time. Let's call it $25.00. IKEA also has a sofa bed that is only 59" wide easily replacing the current sofa bed in my coach. As I can see it so far, it will be easily dismantled enough to go in the narrow doorway on the coach. The point to all of this is that you may be able to save on a design you love with your own skills or a local carpenter willing to take on the challenge.
