You can unplug it, rinse it out with water and dry it with a fan for a few days. Do not plug it in until it is dry.

Yuck! Not much worse than spilling my Jack Daniels and Coke on the keyboard. I've tried the below with good results when I did IT support for my employer. You wouldn't believe what is behind the keys on your keyboard cat puke or not.
BEFORE ATTEMPTING BELOW REMOVE THE BATTERY AND UNPLUG THE COMPUTER.
Since the computer is still working, it tells me the "liquid" did not get through the membrane behind the keyboard.
If the keys don't start sticking, ignore it. After a few days, you could blow out the keyboard using canned air or compressor on low pressure. Remember that if it isn't broke don't break it.
If you have sticking keys, keep working the involved keys while blowing out the keyboard with canned air or compressor on low pressure.
If above does not work, and keys continue to stick, you can pop the key tops off using a small screwdriver or some type of small flat blade. Just be gentle.
Scrap the puke loose with some type of tool. Then blow out the dry residue with canned air or compressor on very low pressure.
If there are a large number of keys involved... Hang the computer up with the keyboard facing down. Next step depends on how much stuff is in the keyboard. If there are a lot of chunks, you might need to use something like Resolve, 409 or some type of critus cleaner. Spray the keyboard while it is hanging upside down. Then rinse with warm water using a spray bottle. Allow to dry for at least 48 hours or longer. Do not blow out with air or use a hair dryer which can force moisture through the membrane behind the keyboard into the computer. If the cat spew was mostly just liquid just try the warm water.
Good luck. You will be surprised how much abuse a laptop will take.

You need one of these or most any keyboard made by Seal Shield. All of them are dishwasher safe.

Is it a normal USB keyboard for a desktop computer? If so, just go buy a new one... Psychologically I'd always be thinking of cat yack when I was typing no matter how much I cleaned it.
laptop keyboard? get it replaced and inspect the rest of the internals, consider having it cleaned by a repair service also. Normal water will lead to corrosion over time so I can only imagine what yack would do.
