We are at a point in life to begin traveling more in the RV. We've done a vacation or two a year, and camping weekends and holidays, etc., but this summer we're heading out for a month or so;
One of the places we're going is Daytona International Speedway. We have an infield camping spot in the Lake Lloyd section, along the lake.
We've done NASCAR events before but not in Daytona.
I was wondering if anyone here has ever been in that campground, and if the view is good enough from there, or do I need a roof deck, or do I need grandstand seats no matter what?
I have been to over 20 of em, Ive camped in the infield, the overflow and just bout every rv park within 100 miles of it.
Personally I perfer the seats in the Dale Earnhardt section. But thats just me.
If the old Orange Isles (or now the KOA in Port Orange) is committing to NASCAR, that would be my choice. I have not been since 2008, but that was the best rving , camping choice in the area. Huge NASCAR groups.
Good, there really aint no bad sites there. Noisy, drunks, Every kind of generator in the world , every kind of alcoholic bev, bare babes, bananas in the shorts of would be men, some even bring knives to gun fights there.

Every kind of home made rv too LOL.
We've been going to Texas since '05, and it's wild wild wild; I often come back to camp long before my comrades do, LOL.
Wife will keep me out of trouble, and they tell me quiet times are pretty well enforced in this part anyway...
