If showers at campground are nice and clean...I use them. (love long, long, long, hot showers) If they are a pit or no hot water, I use the coach...then I write a bad review..
If you let me know you are in the same park as I am...I'll wave on my way to the shower house..

I love our shower in our 31ft travel trailer. Almost too funny, seeing all the people step out of their $200K class A to use campground showers in the mornings, when we all have full hookups
Campground showers i do not use as they are poor in heat and sanitary conditions are non existent.RV resort showers i always use as they are large, warm and extremely clean.Like they say U get what u pay for

I think I've used a campground shower once in the last ten years. Tanks was getting full, and it had been a trick to get the coach level. The was a one foot drop from left to right where I was parked. Coach was up on ramps + jacks, no way I was going to go to all that messing around to dump the tanks just for one last shower.

May be it,s just that the owners are to big and not enough room in the coach shower, or your DW used all the hot water up first.

Interesting and FUN question. Wife and I, since getting our mh have NEVER used the cg showers. When we had our TTs,almost never. Pop up and tenting...of course.
THEIR motorhome...THEIR choice...and so what? But the "why" is interesting. Just like some BIG DPs pull in....the awnings are NEVER opened...THEY never come out....things like that.
Interesting comments in this thread, tho.....like TEN GALLONS of water (for a shower) ain't enough? But...to each their own.

Some of us only have 6 gallons of hot water not 10 and my bathroom in the mh isn't exactly huge, I think I could fit it in my shower at home. I haven't used the CG showers...yet...We are palnning a trip this May with some others dry camping that would fill our grey tank fast, only choice is to pay someone to pump it out and that would get pricey in a hurry. We won't be far from the CG showers and hear they are pretty nice so problem solved.

That's what makes the world go round. Everyone is different. Some like their own showers, others like the CG showers. As for me, I like the CG showers.
more room
more hot water
someone else cleans up after
I get exercise by walking to the showers
etc. etc. etc.

My wife and I like to to go the campground showers when we first arrive and check things out, if we see that they work fine and privicy look good and do not have to walk to far or there is plenty of parking space we use there facilites. We have good facilites on board our 32 ft., rig but I think why put the wear and tear on our rig when we are also paying for not just the lot and utilities but the opportuntiy to use all that the campgroung has to offer.
But this is a judgment call on your part, not all people are the same and have there own prefrences.
