Does anyone have any experience with the new RVi aux Toad Brake system? It's relatively new on the market and there does not seem to be a lot of feedback out there.

I have been researching this as well. Not much info out there on it, but I do like the looks of it. I need to get a brake system in the next few weeks.

Check SMI brakes, they also have radio units.
Theyb aren't that expensive, some are permanentlly instaled, hook toad, turn brake unit on and go.

I checked SMI and that looks good as well. Although the brake vacuum lines have to be cut into and that voids the warranty on my 2012 Honda Fit.

I checked the website - user testimonial not there. Also not expensive - it is less than the new Braek buddy that is very bulky. It is less than Partiot and less than many other bulky boxes. Prices is not the object - recommendations from users is what is needed.

Don't know - as my system has not yet been installed - RV will be ready 4/4/12.
I'd call BB

Decided on a Brake Buddy Vantage brake system and a Demco Commander tow bar and base plate.
The RVi and the SMI required alteration to the braking system and would void the Honda new car warranty on my 2012 Honda Fit - not worth the risk IMHO!

We have a new Honda Fit (manual transmission) and a new Brake Buddy Vantage Select. Has anyone tried using the BB Vantage Select by just plugging it's power cord into the regular 12v power plug....or, is the 12 volt battery direct kit really necessary??

Greetings Fellow RV'rs
Any users of the RVI out there? It was at a show here in Denver, wondering what the users think of it?
