Zackyboy: No, we had to work. Still hoping for Sunday or maybe tomorrow after truck shopping if we aren't too tired.

Had a good time there Friday afternoon. Not too many people there before 5 then it picked up.
Good variety of dealers and rv styles, even a truck camper and maybe a pop-up and a few new style travel trailers.
Mostly the type of stuff you expect to see in the local weekend campgrounds. Few toy haulers and park models.
The accessory dealers seemed relevant to camping.
We still justify the trip to Tampa for the Prevost and super haulers and top of the line stuff...
Raleigh Rv show will be a good way to spend a rainy weekend.
They had a $7 parking lot available, follow their signs, better than the Wake county lot where it ended up costing us more.
Have FUN!!!!

was a good show, alot of new models and floor plans. Had a great time walking around the show on a friday nite, actually wishing we had more time to spend looking. I would def say go to the show and take a peak, it is worth the price. One thing we enjoyed is the sales people were not pushy there at all.

Nothing but a "dealer gimmick". You can see the same stuff everyday...just an advertising ploy...Save your time and money. Been there and the sales people would not leave you alone.

Yep, that is how I would explain it.

Greensboro show was a Camper World show with only 2 other dealers. Is Hawley's turning into a Camper World dealer? I got that email from them about the weekend sale? just wondering, thats what happened to Colfax Country RV in Greensboro. Might make the March show in Greensboro again if the weather is nice. Just like to go and visit.

Well I see the the cost to get in is $9 @ 3 plus $7 to park = $34 plus 80 miles each way. Decided to stay home.

Just returned from the show. Much better than the Greensboro show. Had a good variety of trailers and motorized units. A little pricy, but still had a good time.
I was really impressed with the Element TTs. Neat looking trailers. Wish they made a fiver with that design.
