Has anyone hung their blueboy from the rear ladder? I was thinking of making a hanger to hang from a ladder rung to support the bottom on, then securing the blueboy with ratchet straps. Any comments or concerns?
Thank You

Enjoying life, retired and on a long road trip, finding new mountains to hike, new trails to bike, and new water to kayak.
Ours has been hanging from our ladder for 4 years. We use the ball type of bungees. We have 4 holding it on and then one large bungee around the ladder and the blue tote in the center.
We replace the bungees every year, but have never had a problem with it moving, jumping, etc. We do check them as part of hookup.
We attach our blue boy to our ladder using the following We bungee the blue boy to the ladder and to the rack at the top, middle and bottom. We have done this for over 4 years without any issues.

That's a lot of weight to be bouncing around on that ladder. I'd be worried about the screws holding the ladder onto the trailer eventually pulling out of the fiberglass.

I don't know if hanging a painting on your ladder is a good thing. It's not that heavy or bulky, but I have been wrong before.
Hmmm...just leave the cap open. Great way to drain 'N drive.

I travel with mine in the bed of my truck between the hitch and the tailgate. It sits sideways an fits fine and is low enough to fit height wise also. Obviously I load it after I have hooked up the 5'er. I do put a tie down across it from side to side using the tie down anchors in my truck bed just to make sure the wind doesn't lift it. It fits perfectly in this spot. I have a 27 gallon Smart Tote.
Mine is the 42 gallon model and I do the same as edatlanta. My truck is a long bed and there is sufficient room for the Blue Boy sitting sideways between the hitch and tailgate.
Strapped to ladder Ladder Mount, not an issue. If my 300 lb butt can climb the ladder, I do not believe my "empty" tote that maybe wieghs 20 lbs "empty" and is securley strapped not able to bounce on the ladder is going to cause problems. If theres a problem it's me climbing the ladder....
