We have truely found a piece of paradise. Low Key Hideaway Motel and RV is unbelievable and our host and hostess, Pat and Cindy are very hard working great proprietors. Always around and yet, not overbearing.
Our trip down was started with 3.5 hours of a late start because of an ice storm, but quickly improved on the highway. The trip was uneventful and we arrived after working our way across the Gulf Coast with warmth and sunshine. A nice break from the ice and cold, even though our midwest weather has been mild.
What did we do today? NOTHING, it was great. Really no plans for tomorrow either.
So far all the mods and changes to the trailer have worked great. I appreciate everyone's advice and help.
Smooth Sailing,
Ric and Jan Golding

Second day of doing nothing, so far totally successful. We did shop for supper, fresh boiled shrimp, right off the boat. found out there is "Tin Can Rallye" next door over the weeknd. That sounds like fun.
Can't wait we are 5 wake-ups away from leaving for our first month long trip
it's been a little different planning the food and clothes....Know we'll be grocery shopping and doing laundry on the road....I'm sure it'll be lots of
fun......

Our January Trip has now progressed to February. We extended our stay in the Orlando area by spending one night at Fort Wilderness on the Disney Properties. We just wanted to familiarize ourselves with the area and plan for the future. What a first class facility. Everything has gone as planned as far as getting the awnings put on the windows at Camping World in Kissimmee. Of course, picked up a few extra things while at their store. Last night was spent in Tallahasee at the Big Oak RV Park watching the Super Bowl. Today we cross back in to the central time zone and head back to cooler weather. However, the weather has been good enough in southern Illinois that going home will not be a drastic shock. Plan is to be home early Wednesday. Thinking we should winterize around Nashville.
