There ia only one place in Yuma to go to and that Is Cocopah Resort. It used to be the best kept secret in Arizona untill I started blabbing about it.

There are many such Parks in the Yuma Foothills. Drive into the Parks and look around. Some of the Parks you have to check in before they will let you inside

Cocopah is great, but it is part of a Native American reservation that includes a very good casino. It is just north and west of Yuma, and just a few miles outside the city limits.

There are over 20 excellent RV parks in the Foothills just east of Yuma, and as many in Yuma itself. Those in town tend to be older and have smaller pads than the newer parks outside of town.

We stayed at Sharngi-La RV Resort on Frontage Rd in the Foothills for several years until we moved on to a private lot a few years ago. There are several others that also have pools, social functions and other activities as well.

Cocopah Resort being on Indian land is GREAT. There is NO sales tax. This is our seventh year year there. It's the best place in Yuma to winter.

Cocopah sounds great, does that make it expensive too? The casino will cost me enough ...We are heading to Yuma today.

Just an FYI. We drove out to the foothills and checked some parks out. We were not impressed. We are at Southern Mesa RV park. This is a little south of Del Pueblo. It is Four hundred a month plus electric. I think we are going to just stay here.Nice and friendly And so far cheaper for the same.
