This gets a bit tedious when your dish is 150' away.

Does the cell phone work 150 feet? Just sayin'. We use the radios we use for backing. Probably don't need radios with a MH, tho.

Been there, done that. Get a good tripod & meter.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to weigh down the tripod if you are in one of those parking lot type campgrounds and you can't put a hole in the asphalt?

TV4RV.com HD Tripod kits come with a metal gizmo that keeps the kegs from spreading where you can't get them in the ground. The bottom of the mast has an eyelet. I tie mine to a 5 gal bucket and fill it with water or rocks depending on the length of stay.

Thanks schneid. That looks like it will do it. I got laughed at when I posted that I use 5 gal. buckets as hold downs for my ez up or awning. Glad to see some one else is as unrefined and resourceful as myself.
