Nice trailer, ... water tight bays (I hope), Goodyear Wrangler tires, and a rear skid-plate that did it's job.

I wonder if they had a cell phone signal to call a tow truck?

Years ago when Cheryl and I used to take vacations in the Ramcharger to as far away from civilization as possible we thought about using a military trailer to haul our stuff in once kids started coming along. Have seen rigs here in CA set up high for Pismo or desert. They looked prepared for what they would encounter and took it all in stride.

Way more boon docking than I want. Got to say that Toyota really did a job, trailer was nice to.

For U.S. backcountry drycamping we might prefer towing one of these little guys along behind. Haven't bought one yet, but considering it.

We're thinking that these could take the two of us about anywhere in the U.S. wild-west backcountry (where allowed) in relative comfort. At times when remote-area rockhounding we want to travel a few miles from our RV, depending upon however close in we can get our RV, with some equipment, snacks/water, and carrying capacity:
