Mine is very stable. I was pleasantly surprised how well it works. Before I found this product, I used a thin spring loaded curtain rod at about shoulder level to hold the curtain away. It also worked pretty well.

glad to hear it, thank you!

i went ahead and ordered it, BUT, like always, i have a question...

i assume when installed correctly it swings upward and then inward twords the shower wall when you flip it in????

reason im asking is because it looks like my stock shower mount location is only about 2-3" from the roof line.

i might either have to mount it lower to clear the roof when swinging or see if it can be mounted upside down. i doubt that will work tho...

owners of this product... your thoughts????

(on a side note i really want to buy some more hose from somewhere and extend my shower head up higher)

The camping world link someone provided above shows an animated image of how it works. It doesn't flip up, it stays in the same horizontal plane, but I can't think of a word to describe its movement! Regardless, it doesn't look as though you will have the issue you are envisioning.

alliemac9 has it right. Those joints just pivot in the horizontal plane. It should work for your application just fine.

This is what I installed. It works awesome. Gives you lots of room inside the shower, then collapses in toward the shower to give you more room in the bathroom. Also allows you to hang wet garments or towels directly over the the tub.

I also installed one of these in our camper. Works fantastic! One of the best additions so far along with the Oxygenics shower head.

It looks like you have a shower door AND a curtain, then the cabinet is very close to the door/curtain rod, right? I think it would work, it just wouldn't be able to extend out as far on that side.
