For Dutch Oven cooking is there a reference chart showing number of briquette's per square foot for certian heat ranges? Like if I want my 12 inch crock to cook at around 350 how many briquette's I did look through the archives could'nt find it. Any hope of a chart? Thanks much?

That's the simplest way to arrive at aprox. 350°.
It's a good ballpark guesstimate...
I for one don't think the ole timers knew enough math to arrive at the correct temp.
I was told to line the top and use more than half as many underneath.
(Still works, but not quite as accurate)
