I won't mention the name of the business.
First time they worked on coach and dropped wheel tire etc on the pavement destoying the stainless lug nut covers. They replaced them with cheapies that rusted in first rain and were loos on the nuts. No biggie except they said that was all that was available. Parts said they didn't list any. The ensuing search over three states during trip was no thrilling. Finally after third or forth conversation Shop Manger led me back to Parts Counter. He ordered them and stormed into the back. Cost me lots of aggravation when they should have taken care of it the first time. I was delt with dishonestly and didin't like it.
Second time they did service on MH and quoted price three seperate times from two different people. When Storage personel went to get it they said that was just to open it up. I got that straightened out quickly. They were told and they promised to keep it plugged in while there and inside. They didn't plug it in and drained the batteries. Not inconsequential when they sit for hours or days that way. Batteries are expensive.I don't know what they ran to drain them since we can go for weeks with just the furnace running and the tv etc. It looks like they will have to be replaced. I'm not up for a contest any more.
What would be really welcomed is a list, kept current, of RV sevice providers, that are dependable and you don't have to worry about it.
Never going to be a utopia but tired of buyer beware.

Just for the record you can not go for "WEEKS" running the furnace and TV,s etc every day without charging the batterys several times.I dont care what battery set up u have.

I have a question, how could they drop the wheel with the lug nuts and covers on it?? It had to be mounted on the mh if the lug nuts and covers were on the wheel. I'm not doubting what you said just don't understand.

What good does it do to warn us of this lousy outfit when you won't tell us who they are.

This is the OP Qoute. I have yet to see any RV that could go for more than a few days on battery power only with running a furnace and the TV???? On an Inverter? That also pulls a lot of power???? MORE to the real story me thinks. Doug

Probably laid the hub cap down and dropped the wheel on it. But I guess we will never know what business it was. Must have signed a non-disclosure statement.

I do not know the purpose of this post. If you are unwilling to disclose the Business so we can all be warned then other to kill some time and brain cells what is the point. We all have bad experience and when we warn each other of those places we help that business get corrected one way or the other.
