This was mentioned as a possible cause of some friction in another thread, and I have since gotten several very disturbed E-mails opposed to this policy. We require anyone who is not a registered to check in before they are allowed to enter the RV Park proper. This includes any visitors our registered guests my have and anyone who wishes to view the facilities while deciding whether or not to stay. We do this for the safety, privacy and security of all the registered guests. In the thread this matter first came up, I further indicated that anyone who couldn't follow this simple rule, wasn't welcome in the park. All my parks have multiple signage indicating this policy, it just isn't possible to get to the RV sites and not see the policy clearly posted. Are we on the wrong track here?

Sounds reasonable to me. I want to know who is on my property.

I see no issue with it. I can`t even see a reason why anyone would question it!

Now you`ve got me wondering!!!!
"All my parks have multiple signage indicating this policy"

I always thought you had one park? due to rules you probably can`t post the names of the parks, can you possible PM me the names of them thanks. I`m always on the lookout for a nice campground when we plan a long trip.

Thanks!

NYS campgrounds, at least all I've been to, require you to buy a day use pass to enter the parks.
So just checking in rather than buying a pass for us is no problem.

I wish my local park would have that policy. We have all sorts of different people wandering into the park on saturday and sundays. I would consider the inconvenience of my guests having to register as just part of keeping the rift-raft out.

Hi Western,

I think it is a good policy.

Wrong track? Understanding the policy or agreeing with it?

Only those wanting to hide something would have a problem in my opinion. Plus it is private property so you can do what ever you want, it is your sandbox
