We would like to sell our RV, however not comfortable with Ebay or Craigs. Any suggestions on websites that are honest and have worked for you in the past?

I have sold a Class A and a Class C on Craigslist with no issues. I make them call and give me their email for additional pictures instead of replying back to emails. If they are really wanting a motorhome they will call. You will get some scam emails but those folks will not call. I also google the phone number and you can usually tell if they are local. Really not that hard to protect yourself. PM me if you need more details. I sold both quickly, 3 days on the C and 2 weeks on the A.

I've sold many items via craigslist. Never had a problem. Just be very discriptive in your text about your MH and have 4 pictures. Let them know to call for additional pictures. You can also have them e-mail you through CL to ask for pictures. Have them include a phone number to call before sending pictures. I sold our TT in a week for full asking price and many other items for full or almost all asking price. Make sure your price is what the market is reflecting. If it is not to high in price and is in good condition it will sell.
Good Luck

Sold mine online. Not sure exactly which website he saw it on, never did say. Anyway, the sale went real easy. I told him if he was serious, don't try and give me a personal check. I said bring cash or open a bank account near me or something. No cashiers checks, no money orders, etc... As it turns out, his FL bank accepted transactions at a bank near us. We both drove to the bank, the bank did the check right then, he handed it to me, he got the title, done deal.

Just list it with a broker (consignment)
Ebay and CL are the best way to sell in todays market. If you are not comfortable with them, then list it with someone who is...

I used rvonline.com to sell 2 mh's. The last mh I sold I used dream finders, they advertised it and took all calls and called me when they had a qualified buyer. He came to look at it and bought it. I only paid them 1% when it sold. That was the easiest sale I ever had.

I sold my 2007 Pleasure-way Class B on E-bay. A lot of exposure and very low cost.

Don't forget your local paper, especially if you're in a small town!
You'd be surprised how many people still read the classified ads....
