The wife wants me to mount some stuff she bought for our FW (Paper towel holder, towel rack etc...) there is no room to mount them under the cabinets so I want to mount them to the wall. What do I need to look out for when I put srews in the wall?

Consider using 3M Command products. Hold well, no mark when removed.

If it goes on the wall, it gets Command hooks. I even use them to "semi-permanently" mount things to counters; i.e., I use their picture hanging strips for the table lamp on the little table between the swivel chairs, weather radio on the dresser top in the bedroom, printer on the desk, etc. They hold well, can be detached and reattached and if you don't need them any longer, they come off clean. Their picture hanging strips keep the clock on the wall, yet allow for easily pulling it off to change the battery and pop it back on, the same strips keep my weather monitor stuck to the wall. Great stuff...I carry a little box of assorted strips, hangers, and wall hooks in my "may need these" cabinet.
My 2 cents, your mileage may vary...

For some things we use velcro type heavy duty (pictures, etc). Not sure what happens when you try to remove it. Be sure it's something you don't want to remove later.

If DW wants things mounted then do it. I used 1 1/4" brass screws for permanent mounting of heavy objects up to about 20 lbs.

Hey rvslave,
Not to swipe this thread.....but I'm going to anyways. Where do you mount your weather transmitter? I was leaving mine outside propped up on a table. I'd rather mount it to the outside of the coach.
