I just wanted to get some feedback from those that travel in the summer. As these class A DP coaches have large windshields and large interiors compared to a car or pickup truck, does your dash A/C keep up on a 95 degree day? Or do you have to run your generator and roof air while going down the road too?
This is considering that there is no one in the back of the rv while traveling. Thanks in advance.

Dash air not enough. The MH has a huge volume. I run my gen and AC.

No. Gen runs constantly in the summer while driving. It's good for it and keeps us nice and cool. TV works, outlets work, refer saves lp, and most importantly we would roast without it.

We constantly run the interior air while driving. Tempuratures in the afternoon often are in the high 90 and 100+ is not unusual, as I am sure know living in Utah. In the morning, or in the mountains the dash air may work fine, but usually by noon we kick in the generator and keep cool.

Dash air usually keeps us comfortable with air directed on us. If there's more than just the two of us or if it's unusually hot for the furry friends, I'll run the genny and overhead air.

In summer, with dash air on high, our front side is barely tolerable, back side is toast. Generator and roof air ALWAYS.

Dash is ok up until after 80-85 degrees or so ambient temperature and for a couple hours. After that the genny and roof air comes on.
