I have nothing against doing so if it's what you want but boondocking referrs to boondocks and in my vocabulary that means out in the backcountry. how about urbancamping or overnighting. ... cheap works to.

Dry Camping is dry camping, regardless of where it's done: Walmart, Quartzsite, the local CG with no hookups, or "boondocking" (whatever that means).

I call it overnighting. It certainly isn't boondocking. But I also don't call it dry camping because I don't "camp" in a parking lot.

Lately, I have been calling it Casino Camping. Most of the time, when dry camping, boondocking, overnighting, squatting, cheap etc., I am having fun !!!
Just because its winter and 98% of the CG's are closed wont stop us from enjoying Rving...
