My MIL had surgery to have a toe removed. She told the surgeon that she would like to have it placed in a preservative fluid in a jar and given to her. He wanted to know why. She said she intended to put it on her mantle and when anybody asked what it was she would be able to tell them that it was the little piggy that always stays home.
