We received an update today that Jayco has a projected production date for our White Hawk of 3/8/12. Not bad, one month from order to production.

We went to a Travel show on this past Sunday. I loved the new White Hawk. We just bought our 2007 Starcraft Homestead in September. But if I was going to trade, the 28DSBH was going to be one of my two choices unless I had a bigger truck. Then is was the 31DSLB. They are nice trailers.

Hi,
Congrats on the new camper. Although a different model, we ordered our White Hawk 28DSBH on Feb 18th. Be sure to post photos and give a "first impression" report after you pick yours up. This is the first camper we ordered with everything we wanted, but our 2nd Jayco. Aso if you would like to do a little reading before yours arrives the 2012 White Hawk is online here:
http://www.jayco.com/php/products/owners.manual.php?id=402
It looks like you need to submit your information to get it, but there is a button to click to download the .pdf version.
Happy camping,
Mark in MN.

Our new White Hawk is at the dealership and ready to be picked up. 31 days total from order to available. I'll take delivery in Middlebury later this month and tow it 2000 miles back home.
I'll post a review and pictures after returning.

We are looking at the same trailer. Where did you buy it and how much? We are looking at one that has the customer value pkg, hide a bed, tech. pkg, elec. tongue jack, alum. rims, power awning and ladder. The MSRP is $31342 and their low offer is $24576. I am in N FL and driving to Ohio is not an option for us.

I ordered mine through Indiana RV Connection located less than 3 miles from the Jayco factory in Middlebury, IN.
http://www.yourrvconnection.com/
It's a very simple process to request a price quote from them online. Their website is well organized and the price quote form is very detailed. You'll be asking for a price on a unit built exactly to your specifications. You'll find that some items dealers charge extra for are included.
I was very impressed with the price quote I received and placed my order immediately. I've been completely satisfied with their service and my experience with their staff has been excellent. I have no doubt that the contracts & delivery steps will go equally well.
While it's true you do need to pick up your new Jayco the benefits of doing so are well worth it.

I'm just getting back to normal after an 8 day round trip to Middlebury, IN to pick up the new TT. 4000 miles round trip, half with the White Hawk in tow.
Quick observations -
Indiana RV Connection is absolutely first rate! This is what all RV purchase experiences should be like.
Very pleased with the White Hawk model. Great build. Quality and workmanship exceeded expectations.
After return noticed minor issue with a broken cable tie at one wheel. Repaired it myself.
Unit tows very well. Encountered 30 mph winds across I-40 in TX, OK & eastern NM. Impacted fuel economy but the ride was stable. I know the hitch was responsible for much of the stability but the wide stance axles didn't hurt.
I was anxious about the 6.5% grades from Flagstaff to Phoenix but all went well.
We now have the White Hawk in covered storage and are preparing for the first trip.
More later.
