Before you ask; I did search. Funny, no responces! This hotel was purchased in Tombstone, Az and that is where I should have left it! But being the eternal optimist and cheapscape I bought it cheap, I thought! I couldn't resist the old mans toilet. The furnance and Frig works great too. It is a 1993 Suncraft weighing 1300# On the back of this 'Hotel" are the professionally painted words "The Hollywood Hotel". Does anyone recall any information on the history of this Hotel?

Pictures?
Are you sure someone didn't just paint the Hollywood Hotel on and it's not a factory marking/name?

I call mine "The Dakota Condo". I have that lettered on the upper left corner. I hope folks are'nt running a search for that while I'm out and about.

Mine just has Lance on it. It was particularly popular with at least one other fellow who saw me at a mini-market and gave me a free pack of peanut butter crackers. He was a route salesman for another "Lance" company.

bobndot you may just have started something. Saw a trailer on U-tube of the movie Hollywood Hotel. Never thought of goggling it. The lettering was professionally painted in 3 inch letters in a arch right of the door. Perhaps a previous owner had something to do with the movie. I will try to get it on Netflex. During the trailer Benny is playing Sing, Sing, Sing. A DVD is available for $7.95 and that is what I should have paid for the TC. This is getting interesting.

Just because it looks professional doesn't mean it was professional, or factory. There are a lot of talented amateur artists out there that can do every bit as good a job as a pro.
Heck I have a small computerized vinyl cutter at home. With that to cut a stencil, and a rattle can, I bet you couldn't tell my job from a professional graphic.

synopsis of the movie Hollywood Hotel
in the movie, musicians traveling had signs on thier cars traveling from city to city .
Maybe the previous owner liked the movie and was a free spirit touring the country or maybe a free lance musician .

That is very interesting because this previous owner had Nascar plaks and labels on either side and the door.I still claim that the lettering was professional. It was shadow lettering with a "no vacancy" sign painted on the door window.
