Upgraded my 12v system by adding this extra battery rack. I was running 1 battery before so 3 is going to be awesome. These batteries were ones i had kicking around, I have 3 new matching ones. I dont think my furnace will have issues now running through the night.

New approach to the battery mount set up.
Looks like it should work fine.I know my two 6v batteries are a tight fit.

Good Concept.
If you search the battery hookup threads you will find the most efficient method to hook these batterys together.
Not all parallel hookups are equal.
Hook up your charging system with the Positive terminal on the left battery and the negative terminal on the right battery.
The concept is to balance your batteries by making ALL of the current flow through ALL of the plates.
With my trailer the critical voltage is the refrigerator electronic monitor system that modulates the refer when on propane.
The proper hookup has been posted on here several times and makes a difference if you have 3 , 4, or more batteries.

Hi,
I am not sure where you get your propane tanks refilled, yet the tank is out of date, and not the kind with automatic shut off once full. New style tanks have three lobes in the handle, not 5 as shown in your picture.
Looks like a good rack, yet it seems difficult to refill the lower rack battery with water, and you really should be checking this every 3-4 months. I guess you can check the outer cells, and then when they become low, remove the top battery and put water in all the cells.
To heat my RV in the winter, I normally use my Olympic Catalytic Safety heater. I leave all three roof vents open about 1/4" and the window near the kitchen sink about 3/8" wide.
By the way, if you really want to "Share" the pictures, why did you copy protect them?

Do you plan to use battery boxes too? I might be too old school, but I like my batteries protected from road hazards and the elements. I do like your creativity in the arched second story for the lone battery.

I have three Group 31's accross my tongue and you will like the extra juice. Add an inverter and your good to go anywhere.
