2011 Itasca Impulse 26 ft. class C. We are finding a clear, oily liquid on the floor beneath the kitchen cabinets, near the converter. Sometimes we will see just a small puddle, and other times it it is enough to spread across the floor to the dinette. One shop replaced the converter, saying it could be fluid from the coils. That was not the issue, as the problem continues. We recently had the propane tank filled, and have used the motorhome 3 nights since then, with use of the furnace only at night. This morning the levels tester said the propane tank was 1/3 or less full. Could this be a broken propane line? Any other suggestions? The shop says they have never seen this before, and don't know where the fluid could be coming from. Has anyone experienced this?
I'd say hydraulic oil. Is there one near the cabinet?
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

Hi, it is a 2011 Itasca so it is most likely still under your 1 year warranty. If so the bring it back to your dealer or closest certified repair center and have them fix it. It could also very well be that something fell out of one of the drawers or cabinets and is now leaking.

The oily substance that comes out of LP systems is typically brown, and there's no doubt about where it came from. It stinks to high heaven! And, where you will usually find this LP goo is in the lowest point of the lines prior to the regulator. My understanding is it's an accumulation of the odorant (methyl mercaptan) that's put in LP gas so we can tell when there's a leak. It may pick up the brown coloring from the rubber hoses used between the tanks and regulator.
Not sure what yours is, but it doesn't sound like it's from the LP system.
