Just pulled into the driveway. When we go away, we shut down our 80 gallon electric water heater so we will be spending the night in the motorhome, in the driveway. I don't like cold showers!
Thanks to Dave and Jim for all the prep work for this get together. We had a great time. Thanks to all our friends for making the trip. Thanks to Ris for feeding me at least 4 times.
I think we should have had the event in February when the weather was warm! But............sunny and 74 on the road home. Not too bad.
I have decided that one of the best things that happens at our gatherings is getting to talk with the kids as they grow up and seeing what fine citizens they are turning into. It is obvious that spending time with the family, camping, contributes to good kids. Or, maybe parents who want to spend time with their kids, make better kids?? Anyway, it is a joy to spend time with the kids. It makes me feel younger. See you all at the next one!
