If you use enough water and wait until the black tank is at least half to 3/4 full before you dump, there will be no problem no matter what paper you use. If you don't use enough water and/or dump too soon you will get a clogged black tank no matter what paper you use.

I concur. The key is leaving the valve closed and dumping at 3/4. Water is the great equalizer.

Some of us have built-in maceraters in the toilet...makes which paper even more meaningless.

We use Charmin at home and on the road! When were on the road we use RV Digest in our septic tank (black) and never had any trouble.

I think there are several studies that have been listed in the past that show that RV "septic" additives aren't really effective as nothing stays in your tank long enough?

My thoughts exactly; I only use them for odor control.

It's not a septic tank, it's a "holding" tank. As long as you flush with enough water and dump when over 1/2 full, you can use paper towels for TP if you're man enough.

As one who practices extreme water conservation and often bucket dumps, I can tell you that some chemicals liquify better than others.
