Does it have a shut-off valve built in?...

Some people have reported that the shut-off can be hard to use with soapy hands

We hated the shower head that came in our fifth-wheel when we bought it in 2007. We heard these were much better and I shopped around. We found one on sale at the local Target store in chrome and have loved it. Finally traded the fifth-wheel in on a super C and I'm sure there will be another one of these shower heads in our future!!!

Love the Oxygenics shower head. However, ours is only 4 months old, DH hit it and knocked it out of the holder and a plastic part that attaches the shower head to the hose cracked. The company is sending us a new part but we have to pay the shipping. It does have a devise to slow the flow, but it is impossible to turn. We just turn off the water at the faucet when we want to stop the water flow. Works for us.

I had one in our MH.....right where the threads are snapped in half. Yes, even though they look like they are metal the hand piece is indeed plastic. I went round and round with customer service...basically their warranty is garbage. I had my original packaging but since I did not have a receipt they would not honor their lifetime warranty. I could see if it was a one or two year warranty but it is LIFETIME. You should not have to have a receipt. They were a royal pain about it and I sent a few letters to them (got me no where).

With that said, I did buy a replacement plus I have one in my house. I do love their product, just do not expect "lifetime" on their warranty.

As a side note....they are not really designed to handle extreme temperatures. This plus the knocking around from the kids and it falling out of its holder is what caused the failure. Anyone who purchases one...KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!!!!

I bought one, it had four spray settings controlled by a trigger button. After about 4 months, the spray setting wouldn't switch. Oxygenics send me a new spray head (great service). 4-5 months later then new head stopped switching spray patterns. For at least 1/2 the year I use soft water. I expect minerals are fouling the rotary switch.

Ours has had multiple problems. Latest is the shut off valve does not shut off fully. The whole thing is overpriced, over-hyped, flimsy, low quality junk. I wish we had never bought it.

Oxygenics is a must in an RV. Purchased one for our first 5th., wheel in 2009, moved it to two 5th., wheels since, reinstalled the original OEM in the trailer we traded in. Works best with a easy cut-off installed like the Danco 89171 shut off shower valve, easy to turn off with soapy hands. Clicky

We have Oxygenic's shower head in the motorhome and liked it so much we bought one for the house. I have dropped it on the tile a few times and it hasn't cracked yet.

Ours has held up very well after three years of use and basically I half time so it gets used a lot. I reinstalled the original shower head in the old TT when we traded and brought the Oxygenics with me. It gets laid on the shower floor when we travel. When this one quits I'll get another one.

It is not a shut off valve, that is why it does not shut off completely.
