My vote for 4 mile Creek. Roomy, beautiful spots. We stayed there in August 2010 right on the lake. Loved it.

We really liked Four Mile Creek also, our site backed right up to Lake Ontario. The sunset views were awesome. The drive into the falls area is very easy.

We stayed at Branches of Niagara in Grand Island. It was a very nice, newer park, well laid out, plenty of room and lot's of amenities. Very close to the Falls. It was also the most expensive park we have ever stayed stayed in. We ran across another very nice little campground during our stay called the Cinderella Motel and Campground. It is certainly not a destination style park but it was much more reasonable and we would probably stay there if we ever return.

Another vote for Four Mile Creek. Snag a site that backs up to the lake and I doubt it would disappoint you.

Howdy!
We've stayed at both KOA and 4 Mile creek on US side. KOA was way over priced for what you get, and as mentioned driving through town to get to the falls did not feel safe. The 4 Mile creek campground is nice clean and the drive into the falls follows along the river is nice. we'll stay there on our return.

The Falls is about 10 miles from Branches of Niagara Campground. The Canadian attractions are over the Niagara River, depends on what ones you want. Early October is nice for the changing of the leafs.

I have been pretty much all over the world and the view from this country is just fine fine, ( for better or worse )thankyou.

Bugs,
I've been pretty much all over the world too, and it pains me to say that the view is better on the Canadian side! And it is cleaner on the Canadian side. And it is safer on the Canadian side too. But I think the food is better on the US side! And the prices are better on the US side!!!

We stayed at Branches of Niagara in Grand Island. It is a very nice campground. Bathrooms are very clean. Would definitely return to this park.
